Do I need a brake disc hardware kit?

I'm ordering Duralast rotors from Autozone's web site, and under "related parts" it lists a Brake Disc Hardware Kit.

The picture looks like this:

It costs $9.99 for the front and another $9.99 for the back (no picture of the back). Is this something I should add to my order? I'm going to have my brakes done at an independent mechanic so I want to make sure I give him everything he's going to need.

Thanks!

P.S. I chose the Duralast because from what I've seen online it has a good reputation (and a low price). I don't need slotted or dimpled or drilled rotors, and the Brembo OEM rotors have that rusty hub issue.

Depending on the condition of the clips that are on there now, you could reuse them.

If you want to play it safe, and make sure everything goes smooth...buy the clips.

concur...unless you loose one (they can jump off the wheel when you try to re-attach!) Or bend/break it they would appear to be completely re-usable. Haynes doesn't recommend replacing them....

If you havent done the swap yet there is chance that when you do the torx bolt on the rotors is going to be completely seized. Hit that with some PB Buster (or was it blaster?) and let that work for a little, otherwise you might end up breaking it off. If that does end up happening anyway you have two options once you get the broken part out, you can either forget about it as the lugs are what actually do the job managing the forces generated under braking or you can replace it and put a good coating of anti seize on it.

Just thought I would mention that so you arent surprised.

Thanks, folks. Turned out Autozone was out of the hardware anyway. I'll check with my mechanic to see if he expects to need them. If so, I'll drop by my Mini dealer for the clips.
