TD 1.2'S w/BBK
Please don't flame me about using my friend the search button,i did.I just didn't find my exact combo,(if i missed it,i'm sorry).I'm currently running 17''R90's(17X7X48ET) w/ 215-45-17 Falken RT-615's and a Wilwood 12.19 BBK with stock sport struts and H-Sport springs, with no spacers and no rubbing.I'm looking at buying Team Dynamics Pro 1.2's in 16 x7x 42et and 205-45-16 Hankook Ventus, anyone know if i will need spacers or any other problems? From what i understand,i would be moving my offset outward from the hub 6mm or about 1/4'',which should be fine as long as there is clearance for the caliper as i'm decreasing the wheel dia from 17'' to 16''.I just didn't see anyone with this particular set up that why i'm asking for anyone with knowledge or experience on this. Would appreciate anyone's input on this.
Thanks in advance.
Bill

dont quote me on this
but i have a frd who i think is running 17" 1.2 and the 12.19 kit, and i rmb he came very close to touching the caliper (the face of it) and he wasn't able to run 16's.
so i think the answer is a no, and i'm pretty sure it is a no.
hope he doens't mind me showing 1 of his pic of his setup

Thanks everyone, in the Wilwood instruction manual it says''if 16'' stock wheels (et48) are used, you must use .125 or 3mm spacer. So,going on that,my R90's are et48's and i'm going to et42's,thats 6mm more offset (out from the hub centerline) i would think more than enough to clear.Only thing that concerns me is the ID of the TD wheel,as there is no guarantee that the ID of the TD is the same as the ID of the 16'' R90 that Wilwood says will clear with the 3mm spacer. If anyone has a 16''TD and would measure the ID for me i could measure the OD of my setup to see if it will work.
Thanks,
Bill

FWIW, I got the first 13" FSL caliper shod TCE kit to fit the stock R90. It cleared with a whisper (actually one wheel spoke didn't) but can supply a .090" spacer for it.
Seeing that this set up is a bit wider than the DP caliper is you should be fine. Here are the specs (w/o air gap) for them.

Thanks Todd,i appreciate your help.I haven't got to pull wheel and check dimensions yet, will do it this weekend. So basicly you're saying a 13'' rotor will clear a 17''R90,so a 16''TD 1.2 will clear a 12.2 rotor, but may need a small spacer, correct? BTW, i have a set of 5mm spacers if needed but would need longer bolts. Then my only problem would be fender clearance! Its always a challenge isn't it??
Thanks Again,
Bill
