Time for new tires

Time to take off the snow tires and put on the summer tires. The stock tires that came with the car were garbage in my opinion and not going back on.

’08 JCW ‘vert 205-45-17

Ideally I would put run flats on the car but pending choices I could go with non-run flat and a can of fix-a-flat in the boot. Any opinions?

I am looking for straight up summer tires since I run snow tires in the winter.

I recommend Goodyear GS-D3. I run them in the summer and love them.
The most important thing, though, is to get a second set of rims. That really eliminates (or minimizes) the hassle of swapping tires in the spring and fall. There are many good buys for MINI wheels on NAM or e-bay.

I running Run Flats on 17 MCS in Florida. Got 25K miles out of the tires (Pirelli Run Flats) running them hard but rotating them frequently. What's a good performer in hot humid climate? I have a heavy foot....it's Cooper!
