What size tires fit my rims and MINI

I have a 2006 S convertible[auto] with 7 spoke mini wheels that are 16x6.5.What size tires can put this size rim other than the 195/55? Can i put any that our wider.thanks

205/50/16 works also.

I've got that size. 205/55-16 could also work. /50 is 1.5% smaller than the stock, and /55 is 1.5% larger.

The MINI2 Wheel and Tire FAQ lists a whole bunch of possible sizes.
