Photoshop Request

Could someone Photoshop my wheels so that the inner portion matches the body color of my car? (basically, everything except the outermost silver ring). I'm trying to figure out how it would look, and my PS skills aren't up to the task.

The results don't have to fool anyone - I'm just looking for a general idea.

Thanks!

Thanks so much, Justin! I hope you didn't spend too much time on it - that's really more detailed and nicer-looking than I could have hoped for.

I'm still deciding how I like the wheels in body color, but your rendition is great.

FWIW, Scott, I prefer your MINI with the silver wheels.

I don't know that I'll keep them silver, but thanks to Justin's excellent rendition, I've pretty much ruled out body-color.

What's bringing this dilemma about is that a few small patches of curb rash on the outermost silver part of my wheels have turned into huge sections of the factory clearcoat peeling, chipping, and separating away from the polished part of the rim. There's nothing wrong with the center sections at all, but if I'm going to have the barrels repaired and powdercoated, I'm going to have to disassemble the wheel anyway, so I was playing with the idea of changing the color of the center section while I'm at it.

Looking at some of the OEM wheels that are now available in black, I'm thinking of going that route - barrels powdercoated in silver and the center section powdercoated in gloss black, so that the outermost rim and bolts will provide some contrast.

That looks really good - is that a gunmetal grey/dark silver with some of the body color mixed in?

That would actually be a pretty neat idea. It would be mostly dark so as not to stand out too much, but it would still tie in with the color of the car.

Okay - the highlights looked like they had some blue in them. I think I may still investigate having some Cool Blue mixed in with a dark silver.

Thanks again, Justin. I'll definitely have to post pictures of whatever I end up doing with them.
