Did I miss something? There are a couple of threads discussing wider wheels on here, I started one of them. Search wide wheel roll call or something of the sort.

m|u is simply easier to find information on fitting wider wheels with lower stances as there are several good threads to read about it, you don't have to sift through bullshyt from naysayers, and several people with knowledge on the subject frequent that forum more than NAM. Just helping the OP out.

FWIW, I've commented on your car before (here or there) and I like the wheels/stance. No need to frown about my previous post.

To the OP, post some pics once they're fitted.

Update-

Got the wheels and spacers. Installer showed me spacer with wheel installed w/out tire.

Sticks about 1" from wheel well and the 215/35/18's while they can technically do it would be stretched out where there is not much support for wheel.

The 1" stick out is not the look I'm going for so I returned em'

Have a set of 5Ziegen 18X7.5's ordered up. No spacers needed, same offset, 1" less wide so should be nice and flush with fender

Paying the price for education in return shipping charges..........

Can't wait to see the pics of these on your MINI. I really like these wheels, I've even thought about them in black for my MINI.

They got a dark gunmetal version that I was torn between. Augie has quite a bit of chrome on him so I went with these.

Less/no chrome on yours? Gunmetal would rock

Pic's will be DEFINITELY forthcoming!
