Opinions wanted! Do these look good?

So I got bored and decided to play with photoshop. I've been debating whether or not to paint my wheels white since before I got this car, and I've never really come to a definitive decision.

Currently:

Would end up something like this:

Showing the roof and stripes better:

I think they compliment the white roof (and stripes and mirror caps) nicely, but I've got a few negative opinions from some friends. Personally I don't dislike the current wheels, I just think they'd look better white. Any thoughts? (And yes, I know white wheels are a pain to keep clean... I'm over it.)

Personally... I like the darker rims. I think white rims look cheap. Just my personal taste though.

I like white rims with a white roof. We've had three like that.

I like the darker wheels. I think white would be fine for a set of track wheels.

I wanted those same rims in white for my car but they are impossible to find. I think the white looks great when the tops white. If you get the Hawk Ceramic brakes (I did) the dust its NO PROBLEM. Sin MINI Has them on his and I think it looks great.

I dont think you would regret it, I have been thinking about doing the same when I pick up summer rims. That said, you will have to keep them clean if you want them to look nice, good luck with that... Do you still have the stock pads?

I think white wheels tie in really well on a MINI with a white roof.

I'd say keep your wheels the way they are if you had a body colored roof, or a black roof.

But since you've got white...go for it!

HPS pads front and rear - WAY less dust than stock, but still some.

I'm all for white wheels with the white roof and mirrors! When I ordered my BRG/W I just had to complete the white theme with ordering white rims. As previously mentioned, I think white rims give off more of a 'track' look than a 'street' look.

They look good, white that is

But then who give a crap what I think? What do you want?

Since you ask your color combo is about the only one that white wheels work and don't look cheap. On mine (Chili Red with Black roof) I don't think so!
