i called tire rack and they said they only carry a 17
where is everyone buying there wheels
thanks
According to Tire Rack the 18's wont fit so they dont have them listed as an option for the mini cooper or s. What you have to do is just order the 18" rim without going through the what car is this for.
@thirsty fire - i have also H&R 35 mm on my clubman, that fits
@ssr56 - 5mm should be enough, but i would fit ´em on all 4. I don´t have a big brake kit, but will be the next here some pics of mine:

Paul what size tires are you running?
....
Justin i thought people got up to like 225 or even 235?
Yeah, Tire Rack recommends 215/35/18, but on a 7" wide Breyton wheel, the speedometer would be 2.3% slower. When the speedometer reads 60mph (96.6km/h), actual speed will be 58.6mph (94.3km/h).
Also, 205/40/18 is a stock tire size recommended by MINI on a 7" wide wheel. That's why I went with the size I did. Tire selection isn't as good, but the S.Drives by Yokohama are really good.
Im looking for something that will help with the stance and overall look. Down the road I want to get coil overs and drop her down a little. I will also most likely get some spacers to push the wheels out a bit. The R56 has so much wheel gap i would like to be left with a clean tight fit.
So the trigger was pulled and I installed the GTSR-18s over the weekend. I had zero issue with the fitment. The factory lugs work fine, no drilling required, and they easily clear the calipers even under braking load. So far I am beyond stoked. I have some pics up shortly.
Anyone has them on 17 inch. I really would like how differente they look, preferably on stock suspension.
+1
but on a r56 with some springs like h&r or something of that nature.
JustinGTP Do you have another side shot of your car. With it being black it's hard to see where the tires stop. I was looking in your signature and you don't have any springs listed so I take it you are on the stock suspension?
yeah I am on stock suspension. I won't lower it as I scrape certain alleys already and I don't want any vibrations and any strain on the cv axels/joints.

here:
Thanks man. So those are 18x 7.5"? What size tires? Did you happen to put them on a scale before you mounted the tires?

Thanks, and sorry for the questions.
18's are 17.2 lbs. Depending on your tire selection you can save 25lbs per corner over stockers with run flats. I went with 205/35 Toyo T1R's and I am lovin it.
