Lotus Elise rims on MINI

Has anyone tried to put rims from Lotus Elise on there Mini? Front rims are smaller than rear.

You'd have to make sure the bolt pattern would work. Not sure what it is, but adapters won't work for everything.

Edit: I should research first. I would go with 4 rear wheels, but now you have to make sure the offset will work.

Yes please.

Front rims are 5.5 x 16 and rear are 7.5 x 17. How would this change the performance. Mounting pattern is the same. How would I determine the offset?

The size of the rears is good but there is not enough offset and they will rub on the outside.

The fronts are way to skinny. A 5.5 would just look wrong on a MINI.

Yo if you got the rims or have a friend with Elise give it a shot see if it fits, try Dremeling out the inner trim plastic. Also, check fitment of 17x7.5 on fronts too. I want to know to know cause if it "barely fits" I want to get the TR Motorsports F1 wheels in 17x7.5 all around
