I had planned on putting the factory center caps from the S lite wheels on 16" superleggeras. I used to sell wheels at a speed shop and I am familiar with the fact that there are thousands of types of center cap design and fitment. Just looking at different BBS Wheels, I am fairly confident that the MINI caps should fit a standard BBS wheel with the same bolt pattern. Does anyone know if they will fit the OZs without modifications?
I saw a picture of an MCO.....oops, NAM member who had adapted them to fit some white aftermarket wheels, if others have done this with different wheels I would love to see a forum dedicated to aftermarket wheels with MINI center caps. Let's see 'em.

Here are mine. I cut the prongs off the back of the caps that fit the S-lites and (long-story-short) affixed them to the center caps that came with my SSR Comps. I painted the SSR caps as well to cover the shiny plastic fake chrome.

I would love to see a forum dedicated to aftermarket wheels with MINI center caps.

How about decal duplicates of MINI center caps? Then one wouldn't need to take them off of stock MINI wheels.
I've been talking with a Ryan Currie at GrafxWerks.com in London, Ontario, Canada.

Today I received three 2" dia. samples they have run up of MINI hub logos: one in glossy black with a chrome "MINI" . . . another in glossy black with a silver "MINI" and the third is a sharp-looking carbon fiber-like background with a chrome "MINI" written on it. Ryan said he was going to post these on their website later this week. Judging by the prices they are charging for hub logos they are making for other applications, they should be very reasonable.

You might want to check them out before you tear your stock wheels apart.

The Mini decal in the center of the wheels is available from the dealer.
P/N: 36-13-6-758-687 -- $1.88

And here is a good thread on making a completely custom center cap:

I had mine done by Phil of grafikdezine.com
Just give him the size and he will make a decal that fits over your existing centercap.(same vinyl material as the racing stripes).
I sprayed mine w/ clearcoat... any this is what I got

Peace,
D

That would have saved me a bit of time and trouble. They must have made those available after I did mine.....either that or my local MINI parts department lied when I asked whether they made such a thing.....I wonder.....

Will the MINI hubcaps fit ASA wheels (specifically the AR1), or should I just do the decal?

Also--does anyone know where you can get a metal hub ring to fit this wheel? Tire Rack only had plastic ones.

Thanks!

Decals may be your best issue for these
ASA caps!

Greg: Go to www.grafx@grafxwerks.com and check out the several MINI styles they have available. You can order a set of MINI hub decals and specify the diameter you would like them made for. $20 for four of them.

Thanks, Joe. Are there any photos yet?

My dealer wants $6.22 for each MINI decal. They have to special order it. I said no thanks.

Well, since nobody else asked the question..

Macncheese, where did you get those? I need some for my Team Dynamics wheels but they need to be 45mm diameter.
