The wight of the PF01 17 ofset 45 is 15.6 Lbs, is that right?

I don't know much about wheels. So what is the differance if the ofset 45 or 38?

Et38 will stick out 1/4" further than et45 on the same wheel width.

I noticed that these are now available in black, 17x7 ET38 4x100, but the only one listed in MINI fitment is silver ET45. Is it possible to order the black ones with the proper centering rings?

Just get hold of Alex at tirerack.com x294. I got a set of the silver from him with ET38 and it works great.

I have a bunch pics of them on my car on MA but NAM will not allow me to post them here. ( I tried )

If you go to MA and look under Garages my car is "Chili-PA".

Will the OEM lug wrenge work? I plan to install this myself after tire mounting and balancing from a shop.
What torque setting shall I use?
Tks.

These wheels use tuner lugs which have smaller heads. You will need to use their lug adapter if you choose to use their tuner lugs.

I know for the R56 he torque is 103 ft lbs, and that is with M14 x 1.25 mm lugs. The R53 has a different recommended torque.

I checked the invoice & the lug installation tool is included.
I use 88 ft-lbs in my MCS and E46. I will stick with this setting for now.

Tks.

There is a 17x7 ET38 in black. We offer a 15x8 et35 for Miatas - one could try these on the Mini, but I can't promise they will fit.

As requested, this is a picture of the PF01 on my friend's car at Lime Rock in April. We got them from Alex when the rims first came out early this year. They are 17x7 ET38 and they fit great.

Tires and wheels were mounted today and were very easy to balance. The bright silver aka sparkle silver is really nice and compliments my Indi Blue / White Roof car.
The Hankook Ventus V12 have a more square look just like my OEM Continentals in my BMW 330. Aftermarket square looking tires are hard to come by in aftermarket tire replacements nowadays. I started at 33 psi and will try to experiment in increments of 1 after break in and when the road is dry.

Steering feel is lighter and more responsive in turn-ins than the S-Lite + GoodYear RF combo. Besides from the road being so wet due to pouring rain last night, I want to break in the tires first (remove the mold release agents) before giving a more aggressive test.

Unfortunately, the wife took the camera and cannot take photos at the moment. This wheel is really nice and even picture won't do justice than seeing it in person. I rate this as 10/10.
