Need Pictures of MINIS with 15" Wheels ...

Hey folks.

I run 17" wheels all summer and just switched over to my 15" for the winter ...and I'm sort of liking the ride ...but not sure I love the way they look.

Can you folks with 15" wheels and cars that have not been lowered please post some pictures.

Thanks !

Dean.

My winter setup... I painted some OEM 15's to make them less bland (to me). Some spacers to push them out to the fenders a bit more would probably make me happier, but I'm not overly concerned about it enough to do it.

Not lowered? Hmm.. here's one with all the weight on the other side of the car.. almost looks stock height:

I get all kinds of compliments with the 15s on, but usually in correlation with how low the car sits.

Thanks folks.

Charlie, I love the way your wheels look in that photo. I suspect there was a bit more wheel gap on the other side at that point in time.

I can't get over how much I am enjoying my car with the 15" wheels ...and I'm driving Blizzaks for heavens sakes!!! I just prefer the way the car feels, but am not wild about the way it looks. Here is a picture with my 17" ASA wheels and beneath it the 15" el-cheapo wheels I got for sloshing around in the snow. For $65 bucks each they look nicer than they have any right to.

I'm still undecided.

Thanks for the pictures !

Hey Dean I'm with you on the improvement in ride the 15's give. I notice that every time my snows get put on. The snows are very rolly polly & that may be what we are feeling.

My MINI runs on 16's not 17's in summer, but the Goodyear FSD3 are a stiff tire even in a 16" size.

I Love the look of the ASA wheels you run. I've thought about getting a set of 15" Konig Rewinds, but fear my wife might have me committed for owning too many sets of wheels.

Here is my car with 15's - granted they are Tire rack steelie specials but nonetheless...

That is stock ride height with 195/60/15 Continental ExtremeWinterContacts. I hear you about the difference of the ride on 15's - I am thinking about getting some as my summer wheels, but something in a nice lightweight variety (SSR, Volk, etc.)

I thought you were going with some 22" DUBs. What's up with that JW34?

Thanks everyone. The more I look at my 15s the less they bother me. I still prefer the looks of the 17s, but definitely prefer the ride on the 15s.
