Help identify these wheels (OEM)
Sorry guys nothing to exciting in this thread. I bought my wife's Cooper S a set of wheels for Christmas, in the hopes that I could mount some winter tires on them, and she would be able to drive during the winter months. Since I bought them, they have been sitting in the workshop, collecting dust. I'm debating on whether or not I want to buy buy tires in still give it to her, or if I want to sell them online and get something else for her Mini.
My problem is that I can't find any information of the size for these rims. They didn't come with tires so I'm not sure what size will fit them. I've looked through the stickies in this section but without a picture to reference them, I'm afraid I can't figure out which wheels they are.
Thanks
-Lex

Yeah, stock hollies. The stock size with those rims is 175/65/15.
Keep those rims. They are the lightest OEM rim, and lighter than some aftermarket rims in that size. The will fit fine under stock sized MCS brakes.
I have a set with 195/60/15 on them, but 195/55/15 will also work, as will 185/60/15, and 205/55/15 (track only).
195/55/15, Nokian WRG2, note that the sidewall with this tire comes out to be more squared off.
195/60/15, Nokian Vees, the side wall with these tires comes out a little more rounded, but causes no issues. The ideal size for these tires would be a 15x6 rim, so .5 inches off is not that bad, it is still within the safe usable range.
Full side view of the 195/60/15 on hollies.
Front on view of the 195/60/15 on hollies.
No images of other sizes.

Same as spoolers with the same tire. Speed reads about 5% high with the odometer almost dead on. The outside tire diameter on the stock wheel/tire combinations seem to all be close to the same.

I bought my MC 04 new and have been **** about gas mileage since the day I bought it. I used to set my max speed to 50 MPH and do all the "right" things to get the max MPG. I used to get tailgaters pushing me to work every morning. I just recently purchased a Garmin GPS and found that it was indicating approximately 5% lower speed (as indicated by ran-o-matic above). This prompted me to start checking speed using the mile markers posted along our state turnpike and parkway. I was surprised to find out that the GPS was correct. In order to accomplish 1 mile/minute I had to get my speedometer up to 63 MPH which indicated 60 MPH on the GPS.
