rim size?

rim size?
I have a set of ACE 17" rims with 205 40 zr17 tires. Unfortunately, a while back I hit a curb pretty hard, and I'm pretty sure I bent one of my rims. I want new rims, and I'm thinking of just buying new rims and switching the tires over, eliminating the need to buy new tires. Is this a good idea? Plus, I want to make sure that I buy the right size rims for the tires I already have. Any Ideas?

17x7 or 17x7.5 4x100 should work good. You can switch the old tires over but if tires got little life left, just use up the rubber and get new tires and wheels. That way you don't redundantly pay to mount tires. Any idea what rims you considering? Tire Rack?
