...that you folks must be sick of answering. I apologize in advance for being completely ignorant when it come to tires and wheels.

I have been running 17" wheels in the summer and 15" in the winter and am considering sticking with the 15" for all seasons. My questions are:

1. What size tires will fit my 15" wheels, or do you need to know specifics about the wheel in order to answer that question?

2. What tire size would you recommend for the best combination of look and performance? I like the look/stance of a wide tire.

3. What tire would you recommend that is quiet, is good in the rain, handles well and will last a few seasons? The car is a daily driver, but I do some spirited driving when I can get away with it.

4. If I sell my 17" ASA AR1 (minimal curb rash) with a set of 215/45/17 Falken 912 that have one season left on them ...what is a fair asking price?

5. And lastly ...if I keep my 17" wheels, is there a tire that might smooth out the ride a bit?
