I think I was sold the wrong locking bolts.

Hi Guys

I have a Feb 2005 built MCS. I'm pretty sure I have the M12 bolts because it was made before the change in 2006 to M14 bolts.

I went to the dealer and they gave me M14 locking bolts (4, one for each wheel)

I need M12 bolts, don't I? I'm pretty sure the M14 ones won't fit.

I've had issues with their customer service and one or two of the parts people at my dealer just don't seem to want to be doing their jobs.

Sigh.

I hope I am not charged the restocking fee of 20%. I even asked him if he needed my VIN. He should have taken it to get the right part number.

I have part 36136776076 when I should have 36136776349.

I should just find the part numbers myself and have them order what I give them. Last time the same rep couldn't even order me the right spring mat for my seat.

Justin.

Yes your MINI would use the 12mm bolt size. Time for an exchange.
