Driving on runflats?

That's is why they call them runflats...just keep the speed down, and drive sanely....
A runflat can be run, while flat for a limited amount of time....so you can get it fixed, or get to a safe location. If you were planning on reparing the tire, I would say drive as little as possible, and go slow..( to prevent heat buildup, which may render it un-repairable), but since you will be replacing it...no worries unless the belt/treads are comming off or there is a huge hole...

It got you home anyway....
If it is cut all the way across (all the way into the threads and belt, beyond the tread) or you heard/felt odd things...slapping sounds, etc, be careful...remember, I think the total miles they recomend on a flat runflat is 50 ish at 0 psi at non-highway speeds.

It'll be OK to drive. I hit something that took out a quarter size chunk of the tread plus broke the inner plastic wheel well liner (never did see what I hit) and drove 40 miles to the nearest exit in the middle of Idaho with no problems. Actually drove the car around town while I was waiting the day for Tire Rack to drop ship a replacement run flat. No amount of tire slime will fix your wheel; this is a case for run flats, especially in the middle of nowhere.
