OEM rim replacement, 07 MCS

Just heard the news from the dealer that the 17'' 8 spoke OEM rims, are bent. They quoted $610 for 2 new ones. I am temped to use a OEM/Factory replacement rim center for half the cost. Anyone have any experience on the matter?

You could easily find 4 brand new non-OEM rims that you like for around the same price.

Get some cool aftermarket wheels....or a nice set of used OEM MINI wheels. But don't pay the dealer $600 for two OEM wheels.

So far the scenario is this:

$100-140 fix the original rims - my personal tire dealer/friend
$160-180 Replacement wheels
$?? Get brand new, blacked out, rims of my dreams.

Friday will be decision time.

Thanks motoring chums for the assistance.

dont forget you can sell all the OEM ones for cash to make up the difference! Even the bent ones... i sold my bent one for something like 50 bucks.... heck at the very least it could make a nice hose reel
