I have the Continental ContiTouringContact CH95 15" that came with my 2003 MC.

They have been great all summer and great in rain! after the second big snow..in the afternoon when it turned to slush and wet.. they were great...
however.. in the snow.. wel.. I'm not sure if this was the tire or the MC with the CVT.. ( no I dont have DSC) but from a dead start (ie: a light) if the gas got a little too much, the car swerved to the right on takeoff. as well as a bit of sliding in the snow.

I've sent an email off to Alex here and I am also wondering about the choice in tires. Should I look into dedicated winters? or better All-Seasons? Blizzaks vs Dunlop M2's?. And would the tires help on the take-off??

I would run dedicated winters, like Blizzaks, and they will help your launch aswell as helping you stop!

As we've been talking via the emails...
would the dunlops M2's also help on takeoff??

oh and what would the "consequence" be if I kept them on with no snow?
also the ride.... vs the grand touring conti's??

M2's would be an improvement over the Conti's.

I think Both tires will be fairly comfortable in compairison.

The conti will definatly be more quiet

Wearing your snows into warmer weather promotes premature wear
