New TPMS

Hi all. I had some black rims put on this past weekend, I highly recommend . My issue is a bit odd, and I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this. I opted for the TMPS on the new rims, the system learns the new sensors but the triangle light next to the odometer stays lit. The TMPS warning light does not stay on, but does briefly light up when I start the car.

Thoughts??

Thanks

Hope you got the new TPMS sensors for the wheels. They changed them for 2010. A set cost me about $400 from Tirerack. Had no issues at all.

If they can't be reset "Do this"

If they can not be reset you need to go to a good tire store or the dealer. They will plug a devise into your car under the steering wheel and it will tell them exactly what sensor is not working. If just one sensor does not work it will cause the small light on the Speedometer to light up. The larger light on the tach will light up at starting and the go out on it's own.

I know this information due to I had to use Fix-A-Flat in one of my tires and it destroyed one sensor. My tire dealer checked to be sure which wheel it was before putting in my new one. All of mine work good now.

Thanks all. I tried the reset by the manual. That doesnt seem to have worked. I had the new ones put in by the tire rack so I hope they put the right ones on . I'll see if the dealer can plug the car in and tell me whats going on... whats occuring is exactly what Ronnie says above.
