I need new tires.

I need new tires.
So, I need a new set of tires. I have some some research and have a few options I am looking at. Here is my dilemma. I live in southern Louisiana. Every review I can find is on summer or winter tires.
Living in such a warm climate, I only use one set for the whole year. I am having trouble finding reviews on all season 205 45r17 runflats.
The last tire I replaced I was in a pinch and the dealer was the only option. i never want to spend that much for a tire again!
Does anyone have any suggestions on any all season run flat tires? Or, would summer tires be ok?
Second question while I am posting. My front tires wear very unevenly and I need to have my alignment checked. I know places offer 1-5 year alignment services and was looking for insight on what I should do.
Thanks to anyone who can help!

So, with more searching I have decided to ditch the run flats. I already have AAA and will just pick up a pack of slime.
I am considering getting a full set of Ventus v12 evo k110. At only 352 before shipping, I find it hard to justify buying one runflat. That, and two of my tires currently have lots of tread left, but have each has a screw in them.
The tires seem to be reviewed highly and have good results. Anyone have any additional input/recommendations on the tires or alignment issue?

I'm on my 3rd set of Hankook tires. First two sets were Ventus V4 ES. I have the Evo V12 K110s now. Great road grip and very quiet, even after wearing down. They just seem to be wearing a bit faster. I got about 25K miles out of the first set of V4s. I think I might be lucky to get 20K out of the Evo V12s. Guess that's the price you pay for performance tires.

I just put on Hankook V4 ES (H105) tires as well and like them a lot, but I had Toyo Proxes T-1Rs before and liked them better as I like the feel of a summer better than an all-season.
I wanted the V12's but did not fit 195/55R16. In any case they grip very nicely!
The advantage of the V4's over the Toyos is the treadwear rating is 340 vs 280 so you get more life out of the Hankook's however the Toyo has a AA traction rating vs A for either Hankook.

Remember that old marketing slogan "Because so much is riding on your tires."? The only thing keeping you from sliding into that guardrail is a contact patch only a few square inches big. My belief is that you get what you pay for. There is a reason why some tires cost $88 and some tires cost $200+.
Yeah, yeah, I know. "High Price" does not always equal "Best Available" or "High Quality". But I would have much more peace of mind by spending a few dollars more.
My $.02.

Stupid question from a Northerner who experience serious snowfall, and therefore has to either use mediocre all-season tires all year, or use sticky summer tires in the warm months and snow tires in the cold months:
Living in Southern Louisiana, (where it is rumored to be hot for most, if not all of the year), couldn't you get away with summer tires all year long?
What temperatures do you experience in January/February? Does it really get cool enough to warrant the "do everything fair-to-good, but do nothing excellently" behavior of all-season tires? Some are good, but in general, they're a huge compromise.
I'm honestly asking, because I don't know. What do you think?

Winters get down to about 30s. And spike as low as teens. I live in the deep south. Down here we have a lot of bridges to traverse the marshes and we see a lot of ice. So, I feel more comfortable having all seasons. Also, I have taken a few road trips to northern Cali and DC to see family.
