Love your pressure gauge? I need a better one!
I'm slowly becoming a more responsible MINI owner. Checked tire pressure today for the 1st time in about 2 years
I know I know, not a good thing to let it go for so long.
So turning over a new leaf I've decided I need a proper gauge. I added air at the local gas station, and realized that my pencil gauge is retarded. I actually have no idea what the real pressure is now in the tires although the road feel is significantly more agreeable. Plus I'm sure my gas mileage will improve.
Any suggestions for brands/models? I'm looking at these 2, but would like to know if there are any that are easy to use and accurate and a bit less $. If not, that's fine - I don't want another useless tool.
thanks.

I've been happy with this Accutire, which you can find at TireRack.com, or in lots of store that carry auto accessories (and it may be cheaper locally).

Tire Pressure gauge
After checking out the various gauges I liked the one on the getagauge site, so i bought one. I like the additional feature to add and extract air without having to remove the gauge.

There are digital displays and analog ones. I have close to 20 gauges of all types I have over a period of time and I gravitate toward the analog ones. I particularly like the glow in the dark analogs with liquid filled that have the 2 1/2 inch face and the 18 inch filler neck. I have a Moroso tire pressure gauge with the bleeder valve that I use most often right now that I like.
These are the pro quality gauges that can last a long time if you don't lose them.

great, thanks for all the responses. I went ahead and ordered the EZ Gage (with express delivery!) since I realized today that 2 of my tires were actually overfilled and the monitor warning light came on!! It seems that it's better to have no gauge than one that is wildly inaccurate! Am looking forward to years of tire-inflating fun!
