Rotors warped

My rotors are warped. I now get a vibration under braking on the highway. The brakes and roters were put on in December. I used EBC rotors.

Can I just turn the rotors or do I need to replace them?

if they are that new I'd guess you could turn them but I'd check the run-out first to see if that is really the problem

Have to check the run out, then make sure they have enough material to shave off. If you have enough to shave off then you'll be ok, if not scrap em and get others.

Man either those rotors are junk or you are very hard on your brakes.

You may be able to turn the rotors & eliminate the pulsing. By doing so you make the rotors thinner & more likely to warp again. Live with it of buy new rotors is my .02.

I have only seen one set of rotors warp on Mini and thats on a JCW from the track. OEM rotors are very strong and resistent to warpage

Have the rotor runout checked to be sure that is the problem, If it is and you cut them thinner its going to happen again and sooner. With taking off more material the rotor will be likely to warp again. That's why we use the zimmerman rotors, they work well and are affordable, along with we've never had them warp.
