R56 Rear Brake Clunk

R56 Rear Brake Clunk
I replaced the rear brake pads with aftermarket ones on my R56. After about 1k miles, I started noticing a clunk sound when applying the breaks at low speeds (like in a parking lot). After about 2k miles, I hear it from both back wheels at low speeds.
The noise may happen at higher speeds, but I don't hear it. Everything looks like it is put together correctly and tightened. The brakes are working and wearing evenly.
The noise is simply an annoyance at this point as far as I can tell.
Any suggestions for quieting them down is appreciated.
Thanks!

My guess would be that the clunk is coming from the anti-rattle clips not holding the new pads tightly enough.
With factory pads, each set of pads comes with new clips. The aftermarket pads I've seen have not. I've had this happen before, and I've been able to bend the clips so they held the pad tighter... This has resolved clunking for me in the past.
