Run Flats FTW!

Run Flats FTW!
I had the misfortune of getting rear ended the other night by a drunk driver. The driver never slowed down while approaching a stoplight I was stopped at. I saw them at the last minute and mashed on the gas to get out of the way and just missed doing so. I got smashed in the rear drivers side corner and immediately my TPMS sensor went off indicating that my rear tire was punctured in the collision. The person never slowed down and tried driving away from the scene. BUT because of my run flat tires I was able to give chase and call 911 while doing so. The police caught the driver within 1 mile and justice has been served. Were it not for my tires this person would have been long gone and I would not have the good fortune of stickin it to them and their insurance. Im glad nobody was hurt.

It wasnt a him. It was a quite attractive 35yr old woman. I was pretty angry at first but after seeing her I realized/think that this is not a habitual offender. She just made a bad decision/stupid mistake by driving in the first place, and compounded it by making another bad decision and/or panicking after hitting me. Im just grateful nobody was hurt.

I guess one of the great advantages of being my age (old -- really old) is that there are no 35 year-old women who are that attractive.
She drove drunk, she caused an accident, she left the scene of that accident.
She is a 35 year-old attractive criminal.
You could have been killed, and innocent members of the public could have been hurt or killed when she fled.
I haven't seen her, but she cannot possibly be that attractive.
Let 'em throw the book at her. She deserves nothing.

I hope they throw the book at her & at the very least put her in jail for a few days, revoke her license, make her get treatment & have her rely on public transportation for a year. Oh yes, lets not forget restitution & a hefty fine. If she is a repeat offender she deserves more.
She may have been an attractive 35 year old, but it was a stroke of real luck she didn't become an attractive 35 year old murderer for killing you or some other road user.
