16x8 +0 offset fit on rear of an r56??

Hey everyone .. I'm looking at some wheels for the mini , the fronts are 16x7.5 + 38 offset which I know will clear and fit perfect... But for the back it's a 16x8 +0, does anyone know if they will clear calipers and not look ridiluously out of the fender?

This is Rally's territory, hopefully he'll pop in soon on this one! Its hard to know about caliuper clearance without knowing about the wheel's spoke design profile.

No problem with caliper clearance, they will poke 35mm out of the fender though

It's likely you will. Take it to a good shop that does hellaflush wheels.
see

For example this is 205mm wide tires on an 8" wide rim

The rear 16x8 will stick out quite a bit.
Some negative camber will help the reduce the difference on the upper edge of the tire from the wheel arch. Adjustable lower control arms will help.

Realize that excessive rear negative camber will increase tendency to understeer so don't turn corners too fast. Tire wear on the inside edges of the rear tires will be higher.

et0 will poke almost a full inch more.

even with -3 degrees of camber the will not fit

Depends on your idea of "fits".

Yes, severe offset and very wide on the road surface with very large slant inward to "sort of" fit.

severe negative camber

Another option is to go with tires that are much shorter than stock which will give enough clearance to not hit the wheel arches and yes it will stick out.
Never mind the negative camber.

I'm sure this owner thinks his wheels fit fine.

Yes but the OP defined his idea of fitting as "not look ridiluously out of the fender". So wheels that extend 35mm past the fender won't "fit" for him.

Yea those wheels aren't gonna work... I've been also looking at these esm 009r wheels that are 16x8 with both +30 and + 20 offsets? You think I can make the +30 offset work all around??

OK, +0 offset is extreme for the MINI. Scratch that.

+30mm offset and 16x8 it will still stick out a little more than a 1/2"

You can pretty much fit Any rim on there. As long as "it's" over 15". I have 15's and they clear the brake caliper. And i put spacers a while ago

Just Keep in Mind. When I finally get Stance GR+ Coilovers. "It" will look much better^^^

I don't think you really answered the OP's question.

Lol yea. Just so you know most R56's require 16" wheels not 15" to clear the calipers.
