18x8 Wheels, R53 Rubbing?

So im at the point where my car needs some new wheels and tires. Im looking at the ROTA MC 18x8 but Im totally out of the loop when it comes to getting tires. Im not trying to get top of the line tires but I dont want something thats simply round and rubber.

Suggestions?

And when it comes to rubbing with the 18x8s, it is bad and is there a way to prevent it?

You won't really rub at stock ride height. I'm pretty slammed on coils and running 215/40/18 on the Rota MCs. Had a lot of rubbing at first but once the tires wore down the plastic arches/liner I don't rub all that much anymore. Only on big dips in the road or sharp turns.
