How are my non runflats burning so much tread?

I bought some Michelin Pilot Sport AS/Plus rated at 45000 miles last January. After 15,000 miles, they are already almost bald. I drive a 2009 convertible JCW and I have taken it to the mountains of NC a few times and played, but ive never tracked it and most of my driving is commuting to work. My commute is not overly twisty and I often have people in the way so im not driving overly fast. What could possibly be causing my car to eat tires that quickly? Theyre mostly worn on the outside edges, but i cant find anything wrong with the car. If anyone has a clue, please share it!

Sounds like a poor alignment to me.

What pressure are you running?
I have the same tires, 32psi and I've got 12k on them and plenty of tread left.

The alighnment is somewhat suspect, as is the preassures, but...
Lots of turns, and depending on the blacktop/concrete surface, it is pretty easy to go through tires much faster then the manfactures usual optimistic treadlife guess. I'm thinking a high hp car (JCW), twisty roads, and rough pavement (it is groved in mountainous areas, and areas that get lots of rain to increase traction....this increases tire wear, especially if the driver is steering aggressively).
Still sucks they were used up so fast....hopefully you will get some $$ when they are prorated under warrenty!! Expensive tires to have wear out quick!!

The shop put 37 psi in them and ive kept them there. they wear on the outsides a decent bit more. My runflats did the same, though. Maybe i should get that checked out. My co-worker drives a Subaru WRX and he says his tires are wearing a lot less and he admits to driving much harder than i do.
