Trying to break the 15" barrier

(lol) They're just mad because of that they couldn't think of the idea of standing out from the Mini Cooper crowd. I'm just doing "it" because I like/love the look. I'm sure Performance wise, "it's" not as fast/maneuverable as the stocks. But I LOVE THEM!!!!

I'm getting so much emails from people saying that they would like the information about my older white rims/wheels.
They are Diamond Racing Wheels (DiamondRacingWheels.com). 15x10, 6" Backspaced, 4x100 (obviously , (lol)). Make sure you don't get anything Greater than a 6" Backspace. Because The rim might rub on the inside of the Mini Cooper (Front & Rear both Apply). I also put spacers on the White 15x10s so the backspace was eventually equivalent to a 4.75" Backspace all together. So if anyone's interested in getting a pair of 15x10s for themselves. Just get "it" either a 5 or 6 inch backspace. The lower you go, the more "it" sticks out from the fender/Deeper the rim will be. But don't go to low, where "it" will look empty in the fenders. That's why I've ordered the 15x12s. So I got rid of the 1.25" Spacers. "It" will look more full on the inside with more rim/tire in there, Sticking out almost the same. Great Luck Everyone and feel free to message me about any other questions. You could also get the Non-DOT Version of the rims where they will only weigh about 10 lbs. My ones were about 22 lbs (without the tire) since they are DOT approved and made with a thicker Material metal/steel. Diamond Racing Wheels can make just about any color you want too. But usually the black, white or chrome look the best. Try "it" out for yourself. They are only in the Hundreds per rim, especially the shipping will be cheaper if you don't live in Hawaii Like me.
Oh yeah! Nikmeister, do you live here or are you just visiting? We should have like a Mini Cooper Car Cruise one of these days. Maybe to watch the sunrise on Haleakala. Lmk!!!!
And also. My Mini Cooper is the R50 Version. I'm not too sure about the backspacing about the Different/newer Mini Coopers but either just take "It" to a shop where they can measure the minimum Backspace for you, or just do "it" yourself. Measure your current tire from the inside to the bolt on area. What ever that is, is the backspace. So my Rims go about 6" from the bolt-on area to the edge of the rim from the inside of the Mini Cooper. Just let me know any questions... Thank You for your time/grace/love!!!!

(lol). The car came with 16" Star rims. I still have my spare tire if you'd like to buy "It". And I live on Maui. I can't wait 'til the shop is done with my car. I'll post a video shortly afterwards. Thanks for being Patient!!!!

Great job so far Cudda……..nice to see someone willing to pay homage to the old Mini track cars of the 60’s
So you're on Maui and I'm up here in New Brunswick, Canada surrounded by about 4 feet of snow.............I hate you already (all my ancestors had to do was steer the ship further south, but nooooooo they decided that north was the right direction )

I haven't given up just this yet!!!! I will be ordering some 15x15s soon enough! They will be made out of the light weight material this time so they will weigh about 10 pounds each. I'll be putting 295/50R15s on all four. I'll just run the 12s just for now and save up to do the BIG switch! That should be it after that. Widest that I'll ever go, 15x15s. The one in the picture is 295/50R15 on a 15x15.
This is the 12 on the rear^^^ (not wide enough!!!! MOAR!!!! Lol)
Praise GOD.

I think the problem is that even though their hitch attachment is rated for 200 pounds of tongue weight, that's only if the weight is acting *straight down* at the hitch (such as if you were towing a properly-loaded wheeled trailer.) With the cargo platform, there are no wheels to support any of the weight, so the weight of the platform causes the hitch mount to bend (the rear end of the hitch goes down and the front end of the hitch goes up), and the attachment plate that fastens the hitch to the car's body isn't strong enough to stop it.
