Recommend 175/65/15 tires or maybe 185s?
Looks like the OEM Continentals are about done for. There don't appear to be a huge number of good choices in 175/65 but I assume I should probably keep the original size at least while the car is still under warranty. Or does that even matter?
Of the 175/65 tires I see out there, the Yokohama Avid Envigor looks pretty good. It looks like Falken Ziex are a little less expensive but reviews of Falken tires I've read generally aren't too good.
Anyway, looking for an all season tire with low noise and good treadlife. I'm not a racer or hard charger. Not impressed with the stock Continentals - almost worn out at 34,000 miles on a car this light is pretty poor. I guess they are fairly quite though.
And if there isn't much of a reason to keep the stock size, it does look like there are a few more choices in 185/60/15, which looks like it'd be the closest to stock in height.
Anyway, leaning towards the Yokos in the stock size unless anybody can tell me of something better.
