What do you guys think of this tire? Anyone used it? Looks impressive, I want a well rounded tire that has a long wear rate, handling is at least decent (doesn't have to be INSANE), comfortable and good traction in at least light snow (for some trips to the mountains). Does this fit what I want (seems like it right?) or is there anything else available that fits the price at 195/55/16 or 205/50/16 sizes. The original size of 195/55/16 has a terrible selection, haha. Anyway, I have been looking for tires all week and just need your help, i hate making mistakes, hehe. Thanks!

I'm using the 205/50 R16 per the recommendation of Alex.

So far it's going well The tires had good traction in the snow in Colorado, and they have a pretty decent amount of grip (not anything like my old Falken Azenis mind you, but the Falkens would have put me in a ditch in the snow if I even could have made it off the driveway).

I like the the T/A V's quite a bit (most of my driving is commuting).

Cool! Thanks Dave, I feel like ordering them already. At about 8k miles, my run-flats were already very worn, the canyons just destroyed everything initially. They were so-so tires in the first place, and now at 15k miles, haha it's hilarious. Luckily, there is no rain or actually, any kind of weather at all lately hence my laziness to change the tires.

Anybody else have any experience with the BFG's? Hmm, also wondering, if I order these tires online, where can I have these tires mounted and balanced for the lowest price around LA?

I've bought from Tire Rack for my prior cars and they recomended a local installer who did a very good and quick mounting for me.

I've not got my MINI yet (it's in production right now - please hurry up guys) but will use Alex/tire Rack when I need new tires.

My experiences with TR has been excellent. As a matter of fact, I still have my Borbet H wheels (14 inch) that I got from TR for my Miata stored in my basement.

Why won't those 14's off a Miata work on a MINI?
