Hyperblack vs. Black

Yeah, hyperblack is more "chromy" than plain black. Unlike these pics, it really appears black, but reflects "chrome-like" in light. The best thing to do is to really see them in person. They won't photo too well. The best description I can give is "black chrome."

Orig when I purchased my ROH Adrenalines the color was called: Black Ice...which is hyperblack or smoked chrome as mentioned here.
It's a terrific color IMHO...
but the downside is....it's nearly impossible to touch-up w/ paint as it's a combo of about 3 different shades of paint. It's a 3 step process I was told when it's painted.
The color looks differently depending on the quantity of sunlight available.
In the bright sun is has a "chrome" look....in the shade a "smoked chrome" look... and during the even'n hours its more "gun metal/dark chrome" looking.... which IMO gives this color a unique appeal :smile:.
