Should I sell my stock rims?

I am current running on my stock rims (2005 MCS) with winter tires, meanwhile there is a set of WedsSport TC-005 with worn summer tires sitting my basement. My question is, as I am going to change to new summer tires and plan to put them on the aftermarket rims (5 lbs light each than the stock), should I consider selling my current stock rims when I get my aftermarkets rims ?
On another note, should I get tires from Tirerack or local tire dealership? I am from Mass so I am thinking to get some tires from Greasy's Garage if they have any or Martin Tires.
Thanks!
Philix

No, you are in mass, keep them for your winter tires.

I put my stock rims back on for trade-in. Sold my extra rims at market place here. Almost no one will pay extra for after-market rims.

I'm torn too, but think I'll keep my OEM even though I don't need Winter Wheels. But on the (?) of where to get New Tires...always go with TireRack you can't beat the Customer Service and remember NAM has a fellow MINIac in our graces to help US out with anything, that's #1 in my Book,

I regret selling my curbed bridgespokes, I should have saved them for my winter set! I have to buy another set of cheap wheels (or steelies.) this winter now.

At the time getting a few hundred bucks and making space in the storage room was nice though.

Do you really need the 200-300 bucks you might get out of them? If not, keep them as you would end up saving more money in the long run due to your rough winters.

Tirerack or discounttiredirect. Depending on who has the tires you want.

Thanks Peeps. I am not gonna sell my stock rims. I ordered new summer tires and they are Nitto NeoGens recommended by John at Greasy's Garage. It's not so expensive so I am quite happy with it. Can't wait to put on these new shoes on my Mini and take lots of photos of her!
Anyone have any experiences with NeoGens?

Keep them.......you dont know when you need them. Plus you can use them as winter tires.
