Continental 2008 tires
Hi Guys!
Bot a used 2006 mini s, had low profiles on her. In package "deal", non-mini dealership threw in brand "new" Continental Contipros, SSR to be used during NH winter. When low profiles NOW put on for the summer, saw Conti Pros DOTLM19, 2008 195/55/16 87V and their tread condition after, winter wear was horrible! Only 2,000 miles, (6 months) and I drive 'her' safe..straight away to and from work, (6 miles), no highway driving..I am a chick of 58, pretty car savvy..and the non-mini dealership is trying to blow smoke up my exhaust!..if ya know what I mean. What can ya tell me , please? I heard about the class action suit against Continental just today after researching..but does that affect mini's?
p.s Thanks to ALL of you, after mini re-aligned with lows on now, dash light tire pressure was still on, (from Conti's to low's) non-mini-dealership told me have to send Mini to Peabody..new sensor needed! WHAT! I re-calibrated it myself within 5 seconds thanks to all of YOU!
Needless to say..no more of that dealership..they've played with my "feminine side" to many times!
Any/all advice..recommendations as to have my mini "cared for" near Exeter, NH would be most appreciated.
Have a Great Ride, Guys, (I use 'Guys' to cover all bases)
