Need Help Tire Rack

So I went to install my brand new Von Max Wheels and new tires from my 2009 MCS onto my new 2012 JCW Coupe. (All season non run flat Contis.)

Guess what won't fit. Offset is incorrect and the Brembos hit the spokes. Dangit. I didn't think they would fit just by looking at the difference between the stock wheels and the Von Max wheels. So I now have 4 brand new Von Max wheels, studs and new TPMS sensors for sale. $100.00 ea. Good price.

But what I need is a set of wheels for this car that are inexpensive and are for winter use only. I want to take the challenge spoke wheels off for the winter along with the summer tires and run the Conti all season with a wheel that I really don't mind getting hit with all the salt and the antifreeze crap they spread on the roads.

What can I use for this application??

If the rims clear the calipers but hit the spokes, you could use a spacer to move the wheel out.

It will clear but I really didn't want to use a spacer. But actually in retrospect I really don't want to use those wheels in the winter anyway. They are too nice and would be ruined in just a few seasons. I would rather take a loss on them and sell em to someone who can use em.

So I am still on the hunt for some plain jane wheels that will fit this car.

Thanks for the idea. I suppose I should have specified the issue of spacers in the OP. Sorry.

Sell them full price. They are brand new never used so depreciation isn't there. Well that is what I would do.

They have about 500 miles on them. I had em on my MCS. So there practically brand new. But technically speaking that are used. I'll stick em on Craig's list. Hopefully I can sell em.

Before I even took delivery of my car (two years ago now), I bought a set of wheels and winter tires, along with TPMS sensors from Tire Rack. THe wheels were something like $108 each and the tires cost more than the wheels.

All in delivered price was just over $1200. I really don't care what happens to those wheels, but they still look nice after 2 winters. Just wash them whenever you get a chance in winter.

Buy some cheap/inexpensive steel wheels for your all season tires. But if you do any driving that takes you into serious snow country you should really have real snow tires on those steel wheels, not just all/no seasons.

So far unable to find steel wheels. Checked with Mini and they don't offer them. I guess I'll have to wait on Tire Rack.

Stocks wheels usually sell real cheap here on NAM. It's an option?

Yes it is an option. That's what I would really like is another set of the wheels that came with the car.

Alex should I assume by your silence that Tire Rack has no solution for me? So apparently I will have to use something that is not just for winter use but is not super expensive. I certainly don't want to change the tires back and forth.

I would like to have several options.
One option is to find another set Challenge black spoke wheels.

I think another option is to buy a set of Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 wheels. I am told that these will work for this car without a spacer.

A third option is to get a spacer, (I will have to get it sized) and use the Von Max Wheels that I have.

Is there a fourth option?

I'd suggest contacting Alex directly via email rather than hoping he notices a forum post. He was really quite helpful when I was trying to sort out my summer tires, answered a ton of emails.

We don't have any steel for JCW's. I doubt a steel wheel would clear the brakes.

Not at all, when it snows out east we get very busy. I apologize for now making it into this thread earlier.

Is there a fourth option?
Sure! Here is a wheel search for the JCW in 17" least expensive 1st
I'd also suggest a fully painted wheel, over one with machine work.
