Airaware TPMS Question

I am looking for TPMS sensors for my Snows. I ran accross TMPS sensors stocked at Autozone manufactured by Airaware for $18 a sensor. This seems too good to be true, but does anyone know if these would even work from my 2010+ Mini?

First, you need to look at if you're buying a replacement sensor that sends out the same transponder as the BMW / Mini frequency...
Or if your buying a sensor that's designed for a retro-fit kit that has a seperate control / monitoring module (like how most AirAware kits are sold).

Seeing that part number you pulled [AirAware #20037] and cross-referencing it on the web, it appears it's a replacement TMPS for existing OEM systems.
However, I would get a hold of AirAware directly and ask on their applications to verify it's a working TPMS for the BMW / Mini frequency.

EDIT: Found more information; AirAware appears to be a sub-set of Schrader International

There part number align with the details you provided; but it's not 100% clear what's needed.

I was able to uncover that the part I referenced prior is in fact only a valve stem core without a transmitter. The Transmitter part is 28081 and sells for $177 at Auto Zone, plus the $19 Valve... I would be better off getting the OEM ones from the Dealership.

Before you buy new TPMS modules from a dealer, check all of the FORUMS for 2010+ TPMS modules for sale. I recently sold a set via this method.
