I got some 5 mm H&R spacers from Options Auto Salon. http://www.OptionsAuto.com They had the best price I could find, $40 a pair. You will need longer bolts or studs if yoy use spacers.

If you use the 58 mm studs with stock wheels you MUST use a spacer if you want to get your center caps back on, 5 mm might work but 1/4" would be better. The 58's would probably work with spacers up to 15 mm with some wheels like the stockers or Forged wheels like SSR's. I would consider 2" the best lenght if you still want to use your stock wheels at all and not need the spacers to do so but still allow you to use a 5 mm spacer when you want or need to.

The O.E. BOLTS are 50 mm BUT that includes the rather long head of the bolt, which is longer than the open end lug nuts I've replcced them with.

gowest - you sure know your stuff. Did you use 5mm up front on your factory
wheels when you were auto-xing? or just went with factory offset?

I never needed them after I got them, maybe once I get my 16x8 ce28n's. I did need some 3 mm spacers up front for a little while with the O.E. wheels while I was sorting out clearance issues with my KW coilovers. I never autocrossed on the O.E. wheels I actually ordered 15x7.5 SSR's before I got the car, based on some early measurements I took off another MCS and I need no spacers in front with them either but do use a 1/16" spacer in the rear with the SSR's.

gowest- thanks again. I might just do the SSR's then. Im planning to get
some V2's (KW) pretty soon, but wasn't sure of the clearance.

going a tad bit off topic, where can i find the best deals on KW's?

I'm not sure what kind of 'Deals" can normally be had. I got my V1's from Helix at a great price as it was their first set and they were looking for some feedback and with my background I guess I qualified to give it. I'm probably the reason they are selling RDR products and K-MAC camber plates as I'm the one who put them on to them. My KW 2 ways I got direct from KW at a reduced price as part of a sponsorship deal. I think Randy may sell them now as I told him how great they are and MINI Madness does for sure as I talked with them a few times about KW's and that's what they had/have on their car that did so well in the Import Tuner thing that was writen up in Car and Driver last year.

Please mention my name at any of these places.

gowest- thanks for the info. I did try Randy a while back, but never got
a response from him. anway..my final question would be, what would
be your recommended setup on the KW's damping (clicks from full hard)
for:

1. Street
2. Auto-x

Height: about -1.5inches from stock
Springs: ones that come with the kit.

Thanks.
