Who is running a 18x8 wheel on a 1st gen?

Who is running a 18x8 wheel on a 1st gen?

Ok, so to make a long story short: I've got a deal on some wheels, and by deal I mean they're free and a company is asking me to test them out. They are going to be my beater winter wheels that I'll stretch on some small snow tires on them. Only problem is they are 18x8. I am lowered about an inch and a half. I have heard before that this will cause rubbing issues but wasn't certain. Anyone running this size and a gen1 with no problems?

18x8 has been done; only question is the wheel offset and tire size.
