Rspeed Slime repair kit
#1
I have a question about this product, and thought my post might benefit others of the same mind.
Is the Slime put into the tire before you get a leak, as a preventative measure? Or do you add it once you get the flat. I can't see well with the rest of the kit... is there a device that helps you put air back in the flat tire after you add the slime?
I guess I just need more details. Thanks for a new product to ponder RSpeed!

you remove the valve stem core, then squeeze it in. replace core and inflate.

I sold the product about ten years ago. It is a pretty cool product, however not to be used in a high-performance tire application.

I guess that really defeats the entire purpose of Rspeed's ad then:
"We have heard again and again how the run-flat tires just do not perform well. Many Cooper and Cooper S owners (like ourselves) just stick with run-flats and pass up on other tire choices out there that would offer incredible performance.
Well now things are about to change... "
my SP9000 r/f perform just fine, btw.

Hmm. Why cant you use it in high performance tires? I understand that squirting a tube of goop into your tire is going to make the tire unbalanced but it should be a fine temporary fix, no? I dont think your tire guy is going to be happy to find all this crap inside your tire when you replace it either....
