Well crap.... after you commenting on my other thread and following over on this one. Dude, these seem like winners!!! I was considering doing the ol' summer tires / then switching out for snow tires like a lot of guys here do but... those same guys have WAY more horseys than mine does, and I'm sure they're borderline racing theirs! I just need a tire that will hold up to random weather (i live in OHIO!) and let me get into a lil fast if i'm feeling saucy. I think i'm going to order these for my R53! Thanks bro! Love your Clubman btw.... my R53 is Silver/Black as well. however.... I'm about to plastidip the wheels in black once I get these mounted
Thanks again!
Thanks again!

I have no idea hwo they will compare, never ran the other tires. I run mine at 38psi and they grip like crazy. I have one on ramp and one of ramp that I take going to work and I let people catch up to me before we get to the curve then I shoot around the on ramp at about 50 in 3rd or 4th. Getting off at the exit for work I go around it the same way. Got to be careful with it cause it dumps right next to two lanes of traffic but never had any issues.

My MINI is in need of new tires , still on the oem 17in run flats been to the dragon and used up the rest of the rubber so we are thinking about the Nitto motivo 215/45/17 ??? I think ? I wanted 205 ... But hubby say 215 looks nice and more tire on the road ? I like your review ... Are you still loving your tires ? Thanks ladyvalea

I just bought these because of this thread. I have Falken Azenis 512's on (225/40/18) and they are pretty much done. I needed a good daily drive and Discount Tire was having a "no sales tax" special. He said these are 50,000 mile tires. I read this thread and they seem to be a good choice. I also thought about the General Gmax A03, Goodyear Eagle GT, and the Nitto Neogen.
I really needed a good daily driver tire that will have a good wear on it, rather than a soft tire that wont last more than a year or 2, so this was my pick.
I'll update more after I get them on Saturday and drive a week to work in them.

Just had a road trip. 15hrs, 1000 miles each way. No problems with road noise. Got to open it up a little on some desolate highways. Drove through one of the most torrential rainstorms I have ever encountered...never once did I feel in danger of hydroplaning...did have to slow down to about 50 at times just so I could see the road. I think these are far superior to the Contis DWS. I've had Michelins that rode smoother but I love the traction and handling of these tires. We'll see what happens when the snow falls.

These Tires are FantaSTICK!!!
First commuting week on these tires and I gotta say, I'm pretty happy with them. I'm actually getting about 3mpg more than I was on the Falkens, although the Falkens were ready to go, so I can't say how it was from the start.
They stick pretty good and feel pretty good as far as running over bumps and pot holes (although I try to miss those as much as possible).
Overall I give these tires a great rating and I probably would buy them again.
A lot of people are talking about the Hankook V12's so I need to check those out and do a close comparison.
If anybody has run the v12's before these, please let us know how they compared...

Per the request for an update...
Living in San Diego area, we don't get a lot of rain, but for me (as opposed to cheezehead's experience) I have felt very pleased with road feel in the rain. Having said that, our freeways here have very good "slices" (or what ever they call them) cut into the road for better rain traction.
Tires seem to be holding up well and are still quieter than the tires they replaced.
I haven't given the tires much thought (good or bad), so I guess that is good.
