With the recent thaw in the Northeast dealing a serious blow to my ski season, the hiatus in winter weather has directed me to thoughts of preparing the MINI for summer driving. I would like to hear current opinions as to the best 17" summer performance street tires for wet and dry roads.

For best wet & dry traction, the Bridgestone Potenza SO3's are one of the best options out there. They were awesome performers on my WRX. The Goodyear F1's look promising too. If you're concerned with weight/cost the Yokohoma AVS 100's are a great option (that's what I have now).

yees, S03's. they have been best performers and continues to be on my
WRX. hehehehe. that Uni-T design is amazing in water.

but on the Mini, you don't need that much grip if you're on stock suspension.
I would also consider the RE750, DunlopSP9000's, Yok AVS Sport.
