Does changing the wheel size require any computer/speedo recalibration?

Say going from a 16” to a 17” wheel change? Of from a 16” to 18” wheel?

Since you want to keep the outer circumference of the tire the same size,
you don't need to get your ECU or speedo, etc. re-caliberated.

The wheel diameter might be larger, but the tire sidewall has less
profile, so the circumference stays basically the same.

a few examples:

Tirewidth (mm) / profile (% of tirewidth) <-sidewall width
195/55 tire size for 16"
205/50 tire size for 16"
205/45 tire size for 17"
215/40 tire size for 17"
and so on.
