I refinished them. They are 17x8 ET20.
Thanks. They are an absolute pain to keep clean, but so worth it when they are actually clean.

I picked up a set of TRMotorsports C1 wheels in 16"x7" with 205/50/R16 Continental Extreme Contact DW tires from TireRack. I bought these to replace my OEM 15" x 5.5" R118 5-star Twin-spoke wheels.
Before:
After: (sorry for the crappy pic, it was getting dark)
Difference in width:
As far as weight goes, it looks like I only gained 3.8lbs in going to the 16x7s over the R118s (R118 w/ OEM Conti All-seasons = 31.0 lbs, 16" TR Motorsports C1s w/ Conti ExtremeContact DW = 34.8 lbs, measured on bathroom scale), so I'm pretty happy with that!

Im thinking of getting these wheels for my 2004 MCS, but ESM only makes them in 15" 16" and 18". Will 18"s fit on my car and also can someone point me in the direction of some kind of guide to picking the right wheel for my car? I dont know what all this offset business is
i also dont know what all this means...
118x8.5 and 18x9.5.

Size of wheel and width.......for an R56 it 4 bolts not 5 and the pattern you need is 4x100. The less the offset the further the outside edge of the tire will approach the edge of your fender or the black trim around your wheel well. It moves the wheel further out from the car. Center bore is the hub size that fits inside the center hole of the wheel (behind the esm logo). Lip size is how far the edge is out from the center of the wheel. Hope that helps and others will have additional explanations. Tirerack will show what fits on your car. ....15,16,17,18 inch wheels fit on an R56. Guaranteed.

Go to the Tirerack website. It has all the information that you need regarding offset, diameter, circumference, sidewall height, and ratios as in 175/65/15 etc. They can explain it for you. Or call our Tirerack rep Alex. Discount Tire Direct has the same info in the Info Center. Good luck.

I understand center bore size, and what off set is, but what I don't get is what does more off set mean, and what does less mean for the drive? Am I clear? Like what does it do?
I want these but idk which option is good for me http://esmwheels.com/access/esm-007-16-hsl-p-206.html

Assuming the same tire/wheel width for the moment, a lower offset from OE pulls your wheel outward. This provides increased stability to the car, marginally reduce the turning radius, add some additional strain to the wheel baring in the long run, and potentially add unexpected uneven wear to the tire. It may change the dynamics of the car in over or under steering. Higher offset will pull the wheel inward from OE which as some of the reverse effect of lowering offset such as stability, turning radius, over or under steering. Still has some added strain to wheel bearings, but more importantly may interfere with the suspension component (especially shocks) in some cases especially when the car rebounds and the wheel drops down. Lowering the car can partially compensate for that aspect sometime.
Knowing this, all is a give and take and manufacturer run into the same choices to cover different wheel size and tire options.
When you can, what you can do with offset is to use it to re-balance some of the geometry when changing the wheel/tire width. More grip but also more drag and weight.
Overall changing offset marginally isn't too critical as long as clearances are met but you might incur more wear on wheel bearings and tires and change the steering dynamic a little. Just something to consider, not to stop you...

XXR 522 15x8 et0 wrapped in Kumho Ecsta AST 195/50R15
The third picture was taken before the first two, hence the different colored hood and dirt (How embarrassing! Hard to clean working 90 hours a week ). I flipped my car early last month and have been trying to pull him together between work and school starting in 2 weeks.

As much as I have my MINI apart, I find it far easier to unbolt rather than taking the flares off and breaking a few clips (I hate those things!). Plus, I personally like the look.
Thank you! That's definitely coming soon. The color probably won't stay; I'll stay with blue, just probably in a darker, more saturated blue. I have a two-page-long to-do list for my MINI. Since I'll be starting at the NASCAR Tech in a couple of weeks, it'll be the perfect time for it!
