I kinda like the Gunmetal wheels with the BRG and white. Still need to black out the beltline. Opinions? These are cheap-O eBay wheels from MB Motoring. Weapon 16x7, 38 offset IIRC. $400.00 shipped to me for the set of 4.
Just put the wheels on my wife's car, they are STR 17x9+20mm wrapped in 235/40r17. With no rubbing. I would like to say that I know that there is a lot of confusion about wheels and tires out there, but after seeing the 235/40's on the car, I am confident that with stock suspension (my wife does not want to lower nor raise her car. She drives it daily on terrible streets), one could easily fit 235/45's on with out any rubbing issues.
gatorbait your wife's wheel/tires look really undersized. 205/55r17 came stock on the Countryman and a 235/40r17 is about an inch and a half smaller. Your speedometer is going to be about 6% off so at 60mph she's doing ~64mph.

Just keep that in mind. Speeding tickets suck.
If you mean that she will be moving 60 mph and the speedo reading 64-65mph, then yes. We are fully aware. I believe you said it backwards though. I do appreciate you looking out for my well being by giving my wrong information.
Nothing special S-heavies on 215 rubber. I have not seen a Picture of a chili red R56 with these heavy weights so here it is. Btw. I did not see any fuel penalty but somehow I like how the steering wheel feels as it became a little heavy and not wobbly while driving.
I just put on some bronze Konig Hyper Gramms. They are 17x8 et45 or 48, dont remember, and weigh about 16lbs each I think. I ended up wrapping them in 215/45 Michelin Pilot sport a/s 3 plus. I can post some pics tomorrow if you guys would like.

You tire size is dead on, but do you have hubcentric rings on with those, cuz I read the center bore is 73.1. so im wondering how they fit? My mechanic told me to get rims that precisely fit everywhere without adding hardware (rings/spacers/lug adapters) to avoid vibration and getting the right offset to clear the brakes avoid rubbing the struts.
I cant find any wheels that are 4x100 in 17x8 with a 56.1 center bore that clears JCW BBK that is 16-17 lbs.
