First off, welcome to NAM. We are a jocular bunch of car nuts. Please don't take offense if you weren't treated with utmost respect, it seems to be a simple case of joshing. I doubt that you will find pictures of Porsche wheeled MINIs though. Check out other threads in the Tires, and Wheels forum and I'm sure that you will find someone's wheels to your liking.

>>You're absolutely wrong, wheel adaptors put strain on the hub and bearings, please do not give out poor information and get pissed off at us because we couldn't accomodate your needs.
Sorry but I will have to support the VW guy here (being an old vw guy myself)..
Properly designed spacers are fine... it is all a matter of the offset of the wheels you are using!! so putting a 2 inch spacer on stock mini wheels is bad... because of the resulting offset by using the spacers... perhaps you should have all your info before you insult a new member of our community.....

When spacing is most damaging -
When your spacer has no hubcentric pilot
When your extending beyond 10mm - stresses increase,
unless engineered approriately
When your adapting to a smaller bolt circle wheel.
They are most definatly not something for univeral applications,
to be safe they should be application specific.
