For the most part I'm keeping my MINI as much OEM as possible but still want to be unique.
My dilema is shoe selection...so I come to my NAM peeps. So, what ya'll think?

15" R81 "holeys"

16" R83 "5- star"

17" R85 S-lites

17" R90

Yeah, those R90 look sweet, gets a lot of attention, but they are heavy

They are also difficult to clean...too many nooks and cranny.

The R90s look sharp. Nevermind the weight. Just get a turbo kit and your power troubles are gone.

second choice- the 5 spoke R83s (note the wheel arches are still OEM black)

Hey nobody commented on his velvet red side markers or chrome gas cap even though this is an MC not MCS. Also the mirror covers are body color.

Can you imagine what his garage looks like with all those wheels.

I've always liked the S-lites, but the 5-stars are smaller and lighter = faster!

I'm going to vote for the S-Lites.

I owned both the R90s and the S-lites and the S-lites are way easier to keep clean. Plus, as Gabe has proven, the s-lites look stellar on the Cooper.

Both the R90's and the 5-star look great but my preference is the R83 5-Stars. I suspect that the R90's are way harder to keep clean.

The 5-spokes have a cool "Hot Wheels" look and should be much easier to clean!

just curious why you're not considering the light and easy to clean 16" R84 Y spokes

hey kohuulamini....I like the s-lites.

What's interesting about your pictures is how your MINI's style progresses over time. Very nice!

I kinda like the manhole cover in the R90 photo.

Go for the R83 wheel, it looks the most "balanced" with your MINI. Second place goes to the S-Lites.

Yes, I have considered the R84 but no one here in Hawaii wants to part with them :???:
They are the lightest OEM 16" and easier to clean than the R90's.
