17" Wheel/Tire ?
I just purchased a 09 MCS. Stock suspension 17" stock wheels/tires. I want to put on 215/40/17. Will going with these tires increase wheel gap? I want to eventually lower but not right now, and I don't want to put 215/40/17 on there and have a big wheel gap, I don't really like the 4x4 look. I am calculating a stock sidewall height of 82mm and 86mm for the 215/40/17. Anyone have any pics of 215/40/17 on stock suspension? Thanks!

Here is an example on stock suspension:
Your best bet is to stay with 205/45-17 if you can. This tire size will work with both stock suspension and a little drop.
Also if your streets are not smooth the 215/40-17 tire will be very rough riding and you will increase risk of damage to your suspension wheel or tires from potholes.
