would it be possible to paint my 16'' wheels? I have a JB/JB MC and i think black wheels would look nice.

sure, lots of people do it. If you do, post lots of pictures! i've always wondered what they would look like painted black.

No need to imagine what the wheels look like painted black. Just drive around without cleaning your wheels for a few months!

I'd suggest powdercoating, while you're at it. I've been thinking of doing my v-spokes a nice bronze.

I've powder coated (2) sets of wheels and IMO.... it's the best way to go :smile:

If I may, how much did the powdercoating set you back?

I want to get a set of holies from ebay and powdercoat them black. But so far I ahve been getting quotes of $80 a wheel. Which means new wheels would just be so much cheaper.

Excuse my ignorance, but how does powder coating work? Can it be done in white? Can you take any wheel and do it?

Any insight is appreciated.

BTW, d-mini-ero, how's the ride on the LIE?

Do your own flipping google search, lazy bones.

I mean, you can get powdercoating done in any colour. Most shops say they stock over 100 colours. They kind of spray particles of paint that become embedded into the metal surface when heat cured. The baking will void some wheels warranties, but is rather unlikely to weaken a wheel.
