Do R53 S-Lite fit over R56 JCW Brakes?
Wondering if anyone has experience with this. I was trying to get a cheap set of winter wheels to put on the car but not sure of R53 17" S-Lite wheels will fit over the front R56 JCW calipers. My 17" R112s are pretty snug as is. I can't seem to find any threads that show it working. I would really appreciate any info.

Due to the shape of the spokes on the S-Lites I'd be inclined to say no. I've seen a few threads asking this. Last time I had my wheels off I looked and there is not a whole lot of clearance between the spokes and my stock R53 brakes. Maybe you could find someone in your area willing to let you do a test fit on your car.

Thanks for the response.
My issue is the fitment on the inside of the wheel barrel to the outer edge of the caliper. I think there may be too much material or an overly stepped barrel that will lock up because of the size of the caliper rubbing onto that barrel.
From the back face to the caliper that can usually be corrected by just a spacer but that's not what I'm worried about.
Anyone else?
