TyrolSport Brake Caliper Bushings - Front or Front&Rear?

Couldn't find a good existing thread to pose this question in, so made a new thread.

It's time for new brake pads and thought I'd give this product a go, especially
since they've recently improved it by adding some dust caps, etc.

Has anyone done just the fronts, or done the fronts before adding the rears?
I'm figuring that probably 75% of the benefit comes from doing the fronts alone,
but would like to hear other peoples' experiences on this, so I can decide whether
to get 1 or 2 sets, as money is tight and I just missed their namholidaysale.

The theory of them seems like a huge improvement in my opinion as well. After some light google searching the two noted comments are that you have to be diligent about occasionally lubricating the shafts as too long will cause issues. Second, the snap rings tend not to make it through a heavy/snowy winter. They corrode with the salt and chemicals. Or the stainless rings become brittle and snap from the vibration mixed with heat

Just do both and get it over with. Had mine for six years. No problems with the SS snap rings. It is correct that they need to be serviced regularly to keep everything moving freely.

What I tend to do is service them spring and fall. About the time snow tires would go on or off. I clean the pins carefully, removing and re-lubing them with a very small amount of high-temp grease. Just enough to leave a visible film but not enough to leave any visible outside the bushing as it would just collect road grit.

Do both front and rear to keep brake bias performance the same.

That's a compelling argument. I'll be doing the fronts at least
several months before the rears, and changing pad brands as well.
Hawk HPS --> CoolCarbon this time.
I'll have to be careful at the limit during that time period where they're
not matched. If I notice the difference, I can always do the rears earlier
than originally planned. I might as well get both sets now as it's a lot cheaper
than getting them one set at a time.
